When Darth Sidious needs an important job done, he calls on his loyal apprentice, Darth Maul. Through most of The Phantom Menace, Darth Sidious appears as a hologram. He keeps himself well hidden, and in fact, none of the Jedi really knows he exists. That is why he is known as "The Phantom Menace." |
